About Cebulka
Cebulka is a Polish-language Tor forum dedicated to IT security, privacy, and darknet-related technical discussions. Established in 2013 following the shutdown of the Polish Board & Market, the project has evolved into one of the most respected communities on the Tor network. In 2016, Cebulka was relaunched with GPG-based authentication and an internal escrow system, reinforcing trust between users.
The forum follows strict privacy standards inspired by Torepublic recommendations, including the historical removal of plaintext private messages. In December 2018, revenue from rank fees enabled migration to more stable infrastructure and new .onion addresses for enhanced security. After Tor v2 deprecation in July 2021, legacy addresses were removed. In late 2022, a modern private messaging system enforcing mandatory PGP encryption was introduced, further strengthening user privacy.
